1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Get Clean ("Service", "Application", or "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Get Clean is a text processing application that removes hidden characters, watermarks, and formatting from text. The Service includes two main features:

• Basic Text Cleaning: Operates entirely on your device without collecting or transmitting data
• AI Text Humanization (Beta): Uses server-side AI processing with secure, temporary data handling

For basic cleaning, all processing occurs locally. For AI humanization, text is temporarily processed on our servers using OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini model and immediately deleted after processing.

3. Use License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Get Clean for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. This license permits you to:

• Access and use the Service through web browsers or mobile applications
• Process text for legitimate purposes
• Copy and use the cleaned text output

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Get Clean only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

• Use the Service to process text for illegal activities
• Attempt to circumvent copyright protection or digital rights management
• Process text that violates the rights of others
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
• Use automated systems or bots to access the Service in a manner that degrades performance
• Misrepresent the source or ownership of processed text
• Use the Service to remove watermarks for plagiarism or academic dishonesty

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Get Clean and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your text remains your property. We claim no ownership rights over the text you process through the Service. You retain all rights to your content.

6. AI Humanization Feature (Beta)

The AI Text Humanization feature is currently in beta and subject to these additional terms:

• This feature uses OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini model for text processing
• Your text is temporarily transmitted to our servers and OpenAI for processing
• All text data is immediately deleted after processing and is never stored or logged
• Processing time may vary (typically 2-5 seconds)
• Results may vary and should be reviewed for accuracy
• The feature is experimental and may have occasional limitations
• You are responsible for ensuring compliance with OpenAI's usage policies

Important: Do not submit sensitive, confidential, or personal information through the AI humanization feature. While data is immediately deleted, temporary processing occurs on third-party servers.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of Get Clean is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge our data handling practices which vary by feature used (local processing for basic cleaning, temporary server processing for AI humanization with immediate deletion).

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• The accuracy or completeness of watermark detection and removal
• The accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-humanized content
• The Service being uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from the Service meeting your requirements
• The Service being compatible with all devices or browsers
• AI humanization results being undetectable by AI detection tools

We do not warrant that the Service will detect or remove all types of watermarks or hidden characters, or that AI humanization will produce perfect results. AI-generated content may contain errors, inconsistencies, or inappropriate content. Users should verify all output meets their needs and review AI-processed content for accuracy before use.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLEAN TEXT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any errors or omissions in any content
• Loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content processed through the Service

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Get Clean and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

11. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring you have the right to process the text you input
• Compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
• Verifying the accuracy of processed text for your use case
• Maintaining the confidentiality of any sensitive text you process

12. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in California.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that comes closest to the intent of the original.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Get Clean regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

18. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

19. Mobile Application Terms

If you access Get Clean through a mobile application:

• You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Get Clean only, not with Apple or Google
• Get Clean is solely responsible for the app and its content
• You must comply with applicable third-party terms (e.g., your wireless data service agreement)
• Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with respect to the mobile app

20. Export Compliance

You may not use or export the Service in violation of U.S. export laws and regulations or any applicable foreign laws or regulations.
